April is Stress Awareness month and our Wellbeing team have got a range of special offers and activities lined up.

Stress Awareness Days

Hosted by the College Wellbeing Advisors you’ll have the chance to get tips on stress management and speak to external organisations and catch up with our Sport and Fitness students.

  • Paisley  – Tuesday 19 April from 10.30-2.30pm next to the Coffee Pod
    • Sport and Fitness student will be there from 11.30-2pm showcasing how physical activity can help improve stress levels.
  • Greenock – Thursday 21 April – 10.30-2.30pm in the Main Concourse
    • The NC Fitness, Exercise and Coaching students will also be there to offer various activities, including a basic fitness test. 
    • Guided Relaxation – ‘Happy Trance Session’ – Ardgowan Room 4

      Guided meditation session that is aimed at helping you relax, unwind and de-stress within a relaxing environment. (35 minute session) 3 timeslots; 10;40 – 11;15, 11;40 – 12;15 and 12;40 – 1;15

  • Clydebank – Monday 25 April  from 10.30-2.30pm outside the canteen Taste.
    • Sport and Fitness students will be offering stress busting activities. 

Mindfulness Drop-in Session from 12-1pm
