West College Scotland offers a range of support services to help make your time here as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. We provide a range of support for your mental health and wellbeing needs including one-to-one counselling, informal support, wellbeing workshops, mindfulness activities and online resources.
TIME 4 U COUNSELLING SERVICE
This is a free confidential professional counselling service for students. The service offers one-to-one counselling sessions with a team of qualified and experienced counsellors. All our counsellors are registered with BACP / BABCP.

OUR SERVICES
Helping Hands
Run by our Student Wellbeing Advisors, this informal support platform offers guidance and reassurance to any student concerned about their wellbeing or studies.
Wellbeing Workshops
These are hour-long workshops booked by lecturers for their classes, providing students with hints and tips to support their wellbeing and mental health, covering topics such as: anxiety, stress, time management and routine.
Gies a Break Café 
Provides students with a space to sit back, relax and discuss what’s on their mind.

Drop in to Chill Out 
Making time for yourself is important, time to destress, relax and recharge.

Is a tailored holistic one-to-one support service, helping students through their journey at college.
We know that college can be an rewarding and challenging all at the same time and it is possible that academic and personal circumstances can leave you feeling a little overwhelmed and uncertain
Our college STAY Mentos are here to help and will work with you to identify and overcome any barriers that may be stopping you doing your best and achieving your goals.
Areas of support include: Accommodation, Work/ Life Balance, Money Management, Health & Wellbeing, support to progress to positive destinations, support to connect with lecturers and internal college teams.
