Reach for Autism play – 19 and 20 January – The Beacon

Come along and support REACH for Autism’s youth group – REACH for Change – who have written, produced and will star in a play in The Beacon next week on:

  • Thursday 19th January 1pm – 2:30pm  or 7pm – 8:30pm
  • Friday 20th January 1pm – 2:30pm  or 7pm – 8:30pm

These amazingly talented young people who are all on the autistic spectrum are really putting themselves out there and are using their most challenging experiences and those of the children they know to perform a series of sketches for you that are emotional, though-provoking and funny.  They will touch on the themes of bullying, criminal justice, employment, sensory issues, sleep difficulties, shopping experiences and their take on how life can be for a person on the autistic spectrum.  There’s even an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

We also have special guest appearances from a Deputy Head from a local high school, 2 police officers and a Manager from a local business!

The last show sold out and was a huge success – so don’t delay, book your place now!
