As we come to the end of our first week operating remotely, I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for continuing with your studies where you are able to.
I appreciate that many of you have caring and other issues to deal with, but hopefully you are all managing to continue with some of your learning.
I also wanted to say an extra special thank you to those of you who are still working, or volunteering, in order to keep our communities going.
Whether it’s working in a supermarket or pharmacy, driving a delivery van, working in the NHS or with social care, supporting your community through delivering medicine or groceries to elderly or vulnerable people – really whatever you are doing can I say a huge thank-you. What you are doing is so important, and all of us at the College are very proud of you, as your friends and families will be, and we are grateful, as the communities you are supporting will be.
Thank you all, take care and stay safe.
