We are happy to welcome Scottish Charity MCR Pathways who would like our help to reach more young people that need and deserve a better chance.
MCR Pathways works with care-experienced and disadvantaged young people in your community – helping them to build confidence, overcome challenges and embark on a positive future through the support of a mentor who meets them weekly in school.
It might sound like a small thing, but that positive relationship changes everything. Before mentoring, where only 54% of care-experienced young people left school to college, uni or a job – now 86% of mentored young people do.
Come and hear more about becoming an MCR mentor at West College Scotland Clydebank Campus on:
Tuesday 05/11/19 at 10:30-11:30am or 2:00-3:00pm, Room 146
Thursday 07/11/19 at 10:30-11:30am or 2:00-3:00pm, Room 116
Join us for an info session from MCR, including a short film from mentors and young people involved in the programme, and take the opportunity to ask questions.
