You do not need to submit a self-certificate if your class was cancelled due to strike action. Access All Areas may show no attendance mark – your funding will not be affected by this if your class was cancelled.
If you used a self-certificate for Wednesday 16th January 2019, you can request the self-certificate be re-added to your allocation by sending an email to email@example.com with your Student Number and the message ‘return self-certificate used on 16th January 2019’.
There may be further strikes on Tuesday 5 February, Wednesday 6 March and Thursday 21 March 2019. If, due to strike action, your class is not running on any of these dates, you do not need to submit a self-certificate or take any action regarding your attendance mark. Payment will be made as normal.
