Free Cycling Training Course – CPD Week

We’re very please to announce that we have secured funding to run a CYCLE RIDE LEADER COURSE as part of the college’s CPD Week.

The course is designed to give you the skills and the confidence to take out less experienced people on bike rides. It’s also a great chance to get more familiar with safe cycling techniques, and to build greater confidence on a bike. You will also learn simple maintenance and gain knowledge of bike parts. For the full course description please click here.

The course is open to all Staff and Students from accross the College and will take place on Monday June 18th at the Clydebank campus.

If your are interested in participating but don’t have a bike or an easy way of transporting it to Clydebank, the college should be able to provide you with one, if you let us know in advance.

To sign up, go to the Cycling Scotland website and register here. You can then sign up for the course itself here. The unlock code is CRLWCS2018.

If you have any questions, or would like to sign up, please contact Rory O’Brien, Campus Cycle Officer, at
